The Harp : In Adeeb’s Perspective

         Once upon a time, Deon, Monica, Micole, and I were walking in a forest. We were in a forest because Monica’s dad was a famous forest explorer and he had to take pictures of thePenja forest in Mexico. So, Monica asked her father if Micole, Deon, and I could come along with her and her father.

So here we were one  day lost in the forest.  Suddenly, we heard music. We tried to forget about it and we kept on walking. Then, we heard it again. This time we went to check it out.When we reached where the music was coming from we all gasped! The music was coming a harp on the other side of the lake.  We  saw  the harp but we didn’t see who was playing the harp. Luckily, we all knew how to swim.  When we  reached  the  other  side  of the lake,  we were soaking wet.  Now the weird thing was the harp was moving but nobody was playing it. “Cool!”, exclaimed Deon. Then, he ran to the harp and struck it. When he struck it Golden smoke came out and the wind started twirling and twirling and nobody could see any more. When everything cleared, We saw a skinny,short girl floating before us. She was wearing clothes that were made out of leaves.Micole said,”Nice clothes!” “At last, after two thousand years of being prisoned , I’m actually free.”, said the girl.” You guys get two wishes for freeing me from the harp.” ” our first wish … ,”said Deon,” Is gonna be that when we tell people about our story they’ll believe us. And our second wish is that we were back home.” The girl said,” Done and done.”

The End!!  …… for now…….

One day,  Mickey ,Jan ,Valerie , and I were reading in the hall by our classroom. Suddenly, everything started shaking and the drill came on. Everyone rushed outside ….. except us. The reason that we didn’t was because part of the roof had fell down and was blocking our entrance. Then when we looked up we saw that the rest of the roof was falling down. When we got up none of us were hurt. But, strangely we were FLAT!!! Everybody at home and school suggested wee see a doctor but we didn’t listen.

         Next month, when it was summer break we all told our parents we wanted to go to summer vacation together.  Fortunately, neither of our parents had plans so they let us go. The next morning we all met at the park to go. Luckily , Over the month we had learned many things about being flat. We mailed our selves to each others houses and We always won hide and seek because we folded ourselves up so nobody would see us.

If someone hit us it didn’t hurt as if we were spongebob. Best of all our team all ways won in basketball because every time we jumped to shoot a hoop we started flying and we made it.

 And because of that We decided we were going to fly around the world. First We decided we were going to go to Russia. It was easy going there because the weather was good even though we stopped a lot . When we got there it was snowing. So, For the rest of the summer we stayed there being known as the best piano players. The reason for that is three of us got into the piano and  one of us pretended  to  play  while  it  was actually  the  three  of  us in the  piano.

                                        THE END………..For now

I think the most important amendment is amendment #13.  I’m glad slavery is over because if it wasn’t 0ver I wouldn’t live in America.  If I could change one amendment it would be #26 : You have to be 18 to vote. I wish it changed to a rule that you could be any age to vote.

I would’ve added the rule that presidents can’t bribe you so that you didn’t have to be 18 to vote.

Cleopatra VII

         Cleopatra was the queen of ancient Egypt many years ago. She was born in 69 B.C. in Alexandria, Egypt and died in 30 B.C. in Alexandria. She is famous for her love affairs with Mark Anthony and Julius Caesar. She is also famous for her courageous actions in defending her kingdom. It must have been real hard being pharaoh.

        Cleopatra had a very big family. Cleopatra had two older sisters and one younger sister. She also had two younger brothers. Her family was rich because they were royalty. Even though she was rich, she was very naughty. She had a very good family. Cleopatra

Grew up in Alexandria and she didn’t go to school. Cleopatra first married her brother, Ptolemy XII, (until he committed suicide.) Then she married her   other younger brother, Ptolemy XIV until he died from a sickness. A couple years later she fell in love with Rome’s brilliant military leader Julius Caesar. In the year 44 B.C Julius Caesar was assassinated. Cleopatra’s Last husband was Mark Anthony.

       Cleopatra was 18 when she became pharaoh. What motivated her was the fact that she had to become queen. She was proud to be queen because she controlled the whole country.

       Probably what we can learn mostly from Cleopatra is to always be strong and defend your loved ones. Also that we can become friends with enemies.

   Cleopatra died by making an asp bite her. She killed her self because she heard that Mark Anthony  

was dead. But what she didn’t know was that Anthony was dead because someone had told him that Cleopatra was dead.

The first thing I would do if I were President is stop the war with Iraq. Some people might think that that would be a stupid thing to do but I think its for the best. I think a president shouldn’t think about taking down other countries but care more about his/her own. I Would also stop because a lot of people are dying each day. The last reason I would stop the war is because I hate war.

Then, I would give Afghanistan a lot of money. I Would do that because Afghanistan is a very poor country. I would either give Afghanistan a lot of money or give Afghanistan people metal detectors so they could dig out gold. I would also give money to Afghanistan because I have lived there for seven years and I know that a lot of buildings and homes are destroyed there. So, because of that (and other reasons) lots of people are homeless there. Then I Would do the same to other poor countries or else it wouldn’t be fair.

The third thing I would do if I were president would be changing the white house to the blue house. I would do that and have it on Hawaii. I would hire people to paint it blue because that’s my favorite color. I would have it on Hawaii because that’s my favorite state. Oh Yeah!!I would have it underwater and have dolphins as my friends.
